• Must hold Indian citizenship and be above 18 years of age

Validity of PSARA license in Chhattisgarh

As per the PSARA Act, 2005, the license is valid only for 1 year from the date of issuing. The private agencies can renew the license 3 months before the license expiry based on their requirements.

Suspension and cancellation of PSARA license in Chhattisgarh

Section 13 of the PSARA Act, 2005, talks about the conditions of the suspension and cancellation of PSARA licenses. The controlling authority can cancel or suspend the license for the following reasons.

• License obtained through misuse of identity proof
• Using a name other than the name for which the license has been granted.
• Forged the Documents and all other details to obtain a license
• If the Licensee has violated any provision of the Private Security Agencies (Regulation) Act, 2005
• Any act of license holder which is against the law.
• Any act of the license holder which is against the National Security or Public Order of Law
