• A minimum of 100 members.
• An election ID for each member.
• A detailed and clear manifesto.
• Members must publish a notice, announcing their decision to register a party with an invitation for oppositions with a 30-day deadline.
• A descriptive party constitution, outlining the structure and procedures.
• A party name, which shouldn’t be identical or similar to an already existing party.
• Identification of office bearers, namely the president, vice-president, and general secretary.
• A list of proposed party symbols to be submitted to the ECI.
• A signed affidavit by the president, sworn before a magistrate.
• A comprehensive and detailed list of assets and liabilities of all the members.
• All members must go through an extensive background check, including a criminal history check.
• Aadhar, PAN, and bank account details of all members.
• An oath that demonstrates the party’s allegiance to the Indian Constitution.
• The proposed party must follow the principles relating to secularism, socialism, and democracy.
• A detailed memorandum explaining the rules relating to internal democracy, elections, and the roles & responsibilities of members.
• Bylaws must include a procedure for the merger or dissolution of the party.
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) of the registered business address of the party's office.
• The submission of audited financial statements within 60 days at the end of the financial year.
• The bylaws must include a clause on the principle of adherence to non-violence and non-disturbance of the Constitution.
