Regulation for Delhi Pollution Control Committee Authorization

Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) is an autonomous regulatory body that came into existence w.e.f. 01.06.1991 after Notification Dated 15.03.1991 of Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), which delegated all its powers and functions to DPCC, under Section 4(4) of Water Act &Section 6 of Air Act. It regulates and governs Delhi Pollution Control Committee Authorization.

In 2016, the government came up with the concept of the White Category for Delhi Pollution Control Committee Authorization. The category is launched in an attempt to segregate the least polluting industry.

    • Allotment dealership/letter with one of the 4 National Oil Companies i.e. Hindustan Petroleum, Indian Oil Company, Bharat Petroleum & IBP
    • Letter stating that dealership agreement is totally valid as on date from Oil Company
    • Proof of conformity with the provisions of Master Plan 2021 of Delhi from the relevant authority/local body shall be taken / Relevant provision in the Master Plan 2021 showing conformity of the operation shall be taken
