• The owner of the organisation or security guard must have a clean chit and should not have been booked by any court in the past two years.
• The individual should not be disqualified from any of the government services.
• The individual cannot have ties to any organisation banned or prohibited by the government.
• The candidate must fulfil physical standards and pass the security training.
• Non-objectionable character certificate is a must for an organisation or security guard.

Conditions for the grant of PSARA license in Odisha

Applicants should fulfil the following conditions to get the PSARA license.

• The director and the license holder should undergo the training as the controlling authority prescribes. The training shall be for 6 days under three categories: VIP training, internal security and Institutional security.
• After getting the license, the applicant should provide all the details of the owner or principal officer to the controlling authority.
• If there is any change in the director's address that is provided while getting the application, then it should be reported to the controlling authority.
• If any agency employee or the principal officer is involved in criminal discharge, it should be reported to the controlling authority.

Validity and renewal of PSARA license in Odisha

Once the company gets the PSARA license, it is valid for five years from the license date. The renewal can be made within three months before its expiry. The renewal application also should possess the same process as the new license. Once the license is renewed, it is also valid for 5 years.

• During renewal time, the applicant should continue to maintain their principal place of business in the jurisdiction of the controlling authority.
