Getting the relevant documents for filing the application
First, check for the availability of documents with the applicant and gather all the documents mentioned in the Act for applying.
Sign MOU with a training institute.
Proper training must give to the security guards and supervisors according to the PSAR Act. So the private agency should sign an MOU with the respective state government-certified training institute to provide training.
Police verification
The applicant should submit Form -1, which contains all the details of the security agency, before the respective police authority for verification.
Application Submission
The candidate can submit the respective application only with the NOC from the police authority after verification of details in Form – I. The authority of PSA will review it and either issue or refuse the PSARA License.
The time period for getting a PSARA license
The PSARA license requires 60 days to get the license starting from the date of filing the PSARA application till getting the license.
Validity of PSARA license in Nagaland
Once the licensee gets the PSARA license, it is valid for only 5 years. It must be renewed every five years within three months before its expiry.
