UL VNO Licensing with Corpbiz!

Are you interested in running an Internet services or Data Services Business in India? In order to start such a business, one needs to get licensed which endows you with a legal right to function in a definite jurisdiction. Obtaining the requisite licenses grants them access to the market, bestowing numerous opportunities. One of such strategies is to make a move towards a Unified License (UL) so that telecom service providers can share the required infrastructure to facilitate the resale by the introduction of a Virtual Network Operator (VNO). This allows for the delinking of licensing of networks from the delivery of services and enables the service providers to utilise their networks more efficiently. The government of India has initiated the process of granting a Unified License Virtual Network Operator, i.e., a UL VNO; however, there are a lot of elements involved.

If you are looking to procure a UL VNO License, then look no further. At Corpbiz, we specialise in making Licensing seamless and easy for our clients. We offer UL VNAO License Services that include complete support from our experts during the entire application process, assistance in completing all applicable legal criteria, and submission of the mandatory paperwork. We are known for our customized solutions and timely submissions, at the same time guaranteeing compliance and accelerating the approval procedure.

Perks of Procuring a UL VNO License in India

The telecom industry has undergone major changes in the past few years. With new technology and innovations being introduced at such a fast pace, the industry is developing at such a lightning speed that it is almost impossible to keep track of all the trends. One such trend is the advent of VNOs. VNOs are Virtual Network Operators who have recently become highly relevant, and by obtaining a UL VNO License in India, you can reap the following benefits:

Cost Saving

Building an entire network infrastructure can be extremely expensive, and not every business or company can afford to build one, especially the small stakeholders. However, this is not a deal breaker. You can enter the telecom business simply by obtaining a UL VNO License, which allows you to provide telecom services without making any huge investments in your own network infrastructure. Therefore, by obtaining a UL VNO License, you save a lot of cost.

Get Updated Technology

The telecom or network service industry is growing and changing as new trends and technologies keep being introduced. Therefore, in order to grow and sustain in this industry, it is highly imperative that you grow with the times and incorporate the latest innovations and technologies rather than shy away from them. VNOs have access to the latest technologies that the tradition network operators don’t have, thereby allowing you to gain an added advantage in the industry.

Increased Competition in Telecom Business

Increased competition is not always a bad thing. The more the competition, the better it is for customers as they no longer have to deal with subpar quality of service or higher prices. They even get increased choices. Apart from helping the customers, VNOs also tend to empower the brands to provide a wide range of services, thereby increasing their engagement and profitability.

Start Your UL VNO Licensing Journey in India

Virtual Network Operator, popularly known as VNO or Mobile Virtual Network Operator, referred to as MVNO, which began in India in 2018, is basically a reseller of internet service that provides management services because they do not themselves own telecommunication infrastructure. With the advent of the latest technologies and innovations, the telecommunication industry has transformed, and businesses can be witnessed making a switch from traditional network operators to VNOs.

What is a VNO License?

First things first, let us elaborate on what a VNO is. VNO is short for Virtual Network Operator. As opposed to an ISP, a VNO works in a virtual environment to buy bandwidth and resell it to internet subscribers. VNOs are referred to as virtual networks for the reason that they do not have an actual network while providing these network services to their clients or customers. VNO networks essentially lease bandwidth from several telecom providers, that too at wholesale rates, in order to provide solutions to their customers. UL VNOs are basically an extension of Network Service Operators (NSOs). Now, coming back to the UL VNO license, it is a license issued that allows companies to provide telecom services in India without having to invest in the required network infrastructure.

Role of the Department of Telecommunication (DoT)

The Department of Telecommunication (DoT) issues the UL VNO License in India if the applicant fulfils the essential requirements and prerequisites of the VNO licensing process.

Validity of UL VNO License from DoT

As per the unified license guidelines, a UL VNO license in India shall be issued on a non-exclusive basis and is valid for 10 years from the effective date of the first authorisation; however, this duration of license can be reviewed after 3-4 years.
