An Overview of BEE Certification

BEE Certification, which stands for Bureau of Energy Efficiency, is a certification/ registration that specifies a higher BEE star rating, i.e., higher energy saving for a wide range of electronic products, including heaters, DC sets, TVs, and washing machines. BEE certification allows businesses to align with the energy standards and regulations as specified by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency.

The process of BEE certification undergoes testing and evaluation to determine the energy efficiency based on the performance of the product. Furthermore, the BEE registration certificate is valid only for a period of three years from the date of issuance of the certificate. Additionally, the BEE registration certificate validity can be further renewed by paying the fees along with the required documents.
