State FSSAI Registration for Agricultural products

The FSSAI is a government-based avenue that sets out the guidelines regarding food safety and hygiene in India. As per this institution, the State FSSAI license would be required by those FBOs whose yearly turnover resides within the spectrum of Rs.12 lakhs-20 crore. Compulsory Documents to avail State FSSAI Registration

  • Rental Agreement related to the Business Premises.
  • ID Proof of the applicant such as Aadhaar Card / Passport / DL/ Voter ID.
  • Government Registration Certificates such as Partnership deed, COI, Pan card, Shop Act registration, trade license.
  • Memorandum of Association and Article of Association in case of a private limited company
  • For applying for State License, provide one of the given dossiers.

  • Clear pictures of the Manufacturing facility.
  • Schematic related to the Plant highlighting all key areas. 
  • Detail regarding machinerypresent in the manufacturing facility on the firm’s letterhead.
  • Capacity & Horse Power details on the firm’s letterhead.
  • Product details are processed or prepared in the manufacturing facility.

Central FSSAI Registration for Agricultural products

The Food Standards and Safety Authority of India (FSSAI) mandate central FSSAI registration for those establishments whose turnover (annual) is well above Rs 20 crore.

Eligible FBOs for central FSSAI license includes, but not limited to,

  • Manufacturers.
  • Importers.
  • Airports.
  • Railways.
  • Seaports.
  • Operators in Central Government

What Type of Dossiers Are Needed to Avail Central FSSAI Registration?

  • Rental Agreement related to the Business Premises.
