According to the Food Standards and Safety Authority of India, the State FSSAI registration is meant for those whose yearly income lies between Rs 12 lakhs to 20 crores.   • Rental agreement of the premises where the business is located.
  • The owner or business personal’s Identification proof such as (Passport/DL/Voter ID/Aadhaar Card)
  • Certificate of Incorporation (aka COI), Partnership Deed, Trade License, Pan card, GSTIN number 
  • Food Safety Management System plan.
  • MOA & AOA(private limited company)
  • Partnership Deed (partnership firm)
  • For State food registration, submission of one of the given certificates is mandatory.
  • Business’ nature.
  • FSSAI declaration form

The manufacturers as well as the re-packers however requires to arrange the following documents.

  • Photos of the manufacturing facility where the food items are being processed.
  • Machinery as well as the equipment details available in the plant. The detail must be on the Company’s letterhead.
  • Product details are processed within the facility on the company’s letterhead
  • Capacity & Horse Power details.
  • Plant schematics.

Central FSSAI registration for an event management firm

As per FSSAI, the central FSSAI registration is required by those whose yearly income is greater than Rs 20 crores. The said threshold limit indicates that the Central FSSAI registration covers bigger establishments such as hotels and multi-chain eating houses. Again, obtaining FSSAI registration is not a necessity, instead, it is a compulsion.
