- FSSAI has the right to request any further details before they support the request for the use of the FSSAI logo

No Financial Commitment
There should be no monetary commitment or liability attached to the FSSAI while consenting to support the use of FSSAI Logo and its initiatives logos.
Authority Granted by FSSAI for Utilization of the Logo
- FSSAI’s right to revoke permission for use of its logo by giving relevant notice.
- FSSAI has the right to view the logo that is being used by the organization before it’s finalization
Display of Logo
If FSSAI gives the permission to use the logo, the logo must be displayed distinctly in the banner and/or backdrop
Unauthorized Utilization of the Image
The event organizer may be liable to face problems related to copyright issues arising due to unauthorized utilization of the images, footages as well as the text material. FSSAI will not indulge in any disputes arising out of copyright violation by the organizers
Fraudulent of Usage of Permit
If permission to use the logo is given, it will not give the organizers the right to collect money in the name of FSSAI.
Fair Indication
The use of the FSSAI logo if permitted, should not be used to indicate in any form that FSSAI endorses any food business/food product, it should just mean to indicate that food business has already been certified by FSSAI as having complied to their regulations and guidelines for using the logo.

How to apply for FSSAI logo and License Number on Label?
On 10th Feb 2017, FSSAI announced an order about FSSAI logo and license number, it is legal for every Food Business Operators to put FSSAI logo and 14 digit number on principle show part of the label in the below-described way.

Exemption for Packages Having Small Surface Area
As per information dated 23rd Jun 2014, clause no 2.6.1 of FSS (Packaging and labelling) regulation, 2011 made applicable. Just to showcase the license number and logo.
