On 20th March 2023, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) issued a notification in regard to amending the Notification No. 18/2022 – Central Excise issued on 19th July 2022 in relation to the Special Additional Excise Duty on the production of Petroleum Crude.
The Notification states the following –
- In Table, against S. No. 1, for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. 3,500 per tonne” has been substituted.
