On 15th September 2022, through the exercise of powers conferred in Section 469, Sub-Section (1) and (2) of the Companies Act, 2013 (18 of 2013), the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) under the authorization of the Central Government issued specific Rules amending the Companies (Specification of Definition Details) Rules, 2014.
The notification states that the Rules are to be referred to as Companies (Specification of definition details) Amendment Rules, 2022, which is to come into effect from the date of publication of the Official Gazette.
