The Supreme Court has directed the central and state pollution control board officers (SPCB) to conduct surprise inspections of brick kiln industries in the National Capital Region.
Pollution boards must inspect without giving any notice or warning to the concerned stakeholders of the industries. SPCB must ensure that the terms of notification related to the running of the brick kiln are being followed properly.
