On 24th April 2023, the Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) issued a notification in regard to the reoperationalisation of the Standards of Crude Corn (Maize) Oil- Direction under Section 16(5) of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.
Through the exercise of powers, as conferred under section 92 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, FSSAI has notified the draft FSS (Food Product Standards and Food Additives) Amendment Regulations, 2022, relating to the standards of the Crude Corn (maize) Oil.
