On 22nd December 2022, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) issued Public Notice No. 44/2015-20 for amendments in regard to Appendix 2B [List of Agencies Authorised to issue Certificate of Origin (Preferential)] of Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020. This particular Public Notice was issued through the exercise of powers and conferred in ‘Para 1.03 and 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2015- 20’.
The DGFT amended Appendix 2B of the FTP, which now includes the List of Agencies that are authorised for issuance of Preferential Certificate of Origin (CoO) in regard to India’s exports in accordance with the India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (Ind-Aus ECTA)
