On 21st April 2023, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) notified the date of establishment and withdrawal of Acid Oils.
The following Indian standards were established on 20th April 2023:

- IS 12029: 2023 Acid Oil – Specification (First Revision)
- IS 12067: 2023 Palm Fatty Acids – Specification (First Revision)
- IS 12069: 2023 Coconut Fatty Acids – Specification (First Revision)
- IS 12124: 2023 Rubberseed Fatty Acids — Specification(First Revision)
- IS 12361: 2023 Partially Hydrogenated Rice Bran Fatty Acids — Specification (First Revision)
