On 23rd january 2023, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) issued the draft of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Washing Machine), Regulations, 2023.
The following has been stated namely: –
- The particulars to be displayed on the label are stated.
- The Manner of Display of the label has been mentioned.
- The Permissions required for the display of labels have been mentioned.
- The label fee is stated.
