The Bureau of Indian Standards issued a circular regarding the extension for the date of implementation for the Revised IS 208: 2020 – Door Handles on 28th June 2022. This particular circular was issued with reference to a previously issued circular CMD-III/16: IS 208, which was issued on 14th January 2021.
All Board Officers (BOs) have also been directed by BIS to inform all the licensees and applicants immediately to comply with the revised IS 208: 2020 by 13th June 2023.
