APEDA License

The applicant seeking APEDA registration has to submit the web-based application within one month from the date on which the business becomes active. The application for Membership Certificate is available for the exporter on the website of Trade Promotion Council of India.

What is the Online Procedure for Obtaining IEC Registration to Export Dry Fruits from India?

 On 13th July 2020, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) came up with a new online platform for the issuance of IEC registration. The section below would let you complete the registration process for the Import Export Code with ease. 

  • First, navigate to the DGFT website with the help of the following URL

https://dgft.gov.in/CP

  • On the home page, you were required to click on the tab called “Apply for IEC”. 
  • This will redirect you to the page which encloses some blank fields.
  • Now you are supposed to provide some basic information such as Name, Email ID, contact number, place where you reside.  
  • After entering the required info, tap on the option called “Send OTP,”. After this, portal will send the One Time Password on your contact number and email id. 
  • Visit the home page and complete the login formalities. Now, you would get access to the web-form of IEC registration. 
  • Select the right owner category from the given options
  • Director / Partner / Karta / Proprietor / Managing Trustee of the Entity. 
  • Then, completes the bank details and upload the soft copy of the canceled checkbook and click on Save and Next” button.
  • Select Preferred sectors of operations> Acceptance of Undertaking/Declaration>”Save and Next” button. 
  • Lastly, tap on the “Sign” button located at the lower part of the page.

Then choose the mode of submitting the form i.e., either through Aadhar OTP or DSC (Digital Signature Certificate). After that, you need to complete the payment formalities against the submitted form. The application for IEC registration is capped at Rs 500. The payment can be done on the portal itself. After completing the payment requirement, do not forget to download the receipt. 

In addition to that, you can also download the IEC certificate from the option called “Print Certificate” located in “Managing IEC” listed on the DGFT website.
