Who needs IEC License

Documents required by Sole proprietorship to avail IEC Registration

  • Proprietor’s photographs (3x3cms) 
  • Proprietor’s PAN card copy. 
  • Photocopy of the passport/DL/UID Aadhar card/ Voter’s ID (any one of these).
  • Sales deed in case if the ownership of the business premises is under the applicant; or lease agreement, if the place of business is rented/lease; or utility bills such as phone or electricity bills. 

Documents Required by Partnership Firm to avail IEC Registration

  • Photographs of the partner in the standard size i.e. 3×3 cms.
  • Photocopy of the passport/DL/UID Aadhar card/ Voter’s ID (any one of these) of the partner. 
  • Photocopy of the partnership deed. 
  • Sales deed in case if the ownership of the business premises is under the applicant; or lease agreement, if the place of business is rented/lease; or utility bills such as phone or electricity bills
  • Canceled cheque carrying preprint name of the partner/Bank certificate as per the format given in the ANF 2A (I). The certificate should be printed on the bank’s letterhead.

 Documents Required by LLP to avail IEC Registration 

  • Photographs of the partner/director in the standard size i.e. 3×3 cms. 
  • Applicant’s PAN Card.
  • Photocopy of the passport/DL/UID Aadhar card/ Voter’s ID (any one of these) of the partner/directors. 
  • Certificate of incorporation granted by the Registrar of Company.
  • Sales deed in case if the ownership of the business premises is under the applicant; or lease agreement, if the place of business is rented/lease; or utility bills such as phone or electricity bills. 
  • Canceled cheque carrying preprint name of the applicant/Bank certificate as per the format given in the ANF 2A (I). The certificate should be printed on the bank’s letterhead.

Documents Required by Trust-based entities for IEC Registration

  • Photograph of the secretary/signatory applicant or chief executive in the standard size format of 3x3cms
  • Photocopy of the passport/DL/UID Aadhar card/ Voter’s ID (any one of these) of the managing trustee/chief executive. 
  • Sales deed in case if the ownership of the business premises is under the applicant; or lease agreement, if the place of business is rented/lease; or utility bills such as phone or electricity bills. 
  • Copy of the trust deed/registration certificate. 
  • Canceled cheque carrying preprint name of the applicant/Bank certificate as per the format given in the ANF 2A (I). The certificate should be printed on the bank’s letterhead.

Documents Required by HUF (Hindu Undivided Family) for IEC Registration

  • Photograph of the Karta in the standard size format of 3x3cms
  • Photocopy of the applicant’s PAN card
  • Photocopy of the passport/DL/UID Aadhar card/ Voter’s ID (any one of these) of the Karta. 
  • Sales deed in case if the ownership of the business premises is under the applicant; or lease agreement, if the place of business is rented/lease; or utility bills such as phone or electricity bills. 
  • Canceled cheque carrying preprint name of the applicant/Bank certificate as per the format given in the ANF 2A (I). The certificate should be printed on the bank’s letterhead.
