What is the Procedure to Get WMI Code?

The first digit identifies the location of the vehicle’s final assembly or the nation of origin. The second digit specifies the manufacturer and manufacturing location. The third digit is used in conjunction with the first two to identify the manufacturing division or vehicle type. WMI is an abbreviation for World Manufacturer Identification Registration. When it comes to recognising the quality characteristics of vehicle manufacturers around the world, this method of registration adheres to international registration criteria. In India, all car manufacturers are required to fulfill this registration form. The major governing authority for this sort of certification is the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
