Prime Minister Modi while addressing an online conference on ‘technology-enabled development’ in India. The prime minister urged that the “the nation should identify innovative ways to handle e-waste with the help of technology” to lay down a road map to take the idea of Swachh Bharat Mission forward. Mr Modi has asked to pay attention to creating a circular economy, E-waste management, and developing electric mobility solutions. He said that the government would find answers from the IT and electronic sectors on these aspects.
The Prime minister also stated that science and technology is rapidly developing and efforts should be made to localize and incorporate them to our economy. The integration of technology and the economy enables us to make fast deliveries and empower the citizens.
