On 24th January 2023 the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) issued the draft of the Central Motor Vehicles (……Amendment) Rules, 2023which furthe amends the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989.
The following amendments are henceforth enforced – In Rule 125-C, for serial Number 7A of the said Rules, “Fire Alarm and Protection system in occupant compartment” has been substituted.
The Rules of the said draft are to be taken into consideration after the expiration date of 30 days from the date of issuance on which the copies of this notification as published in the Official Gazette, are made available to the public.
