On 10th January 2023, the Ministry of Labour and Employment issued a notification in regard to the date for certain provisions of the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948.
Through the exercise of powers as conferred in Section 1, Sub-Section (3) of the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 (34 of 1948), the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st February 2023, as the date on which the provisions of the said act, is deemed to come into force in all the areas of Ferozepur district, in addition to the already notified areas of the said district, in the State of Punjab –
