On 17th January 2023, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) issued a Trade Notice in regard to Streamlining the proposed draft guidelines on Halal Certification for the export of meat and its products.
With the aim of streamlining the Halal Certification process for the export of meat and meat products from India, the draft guidelines on Halal Certification for the export of meat and its products are henceforth proposed.
