The Director-General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has devised an advisory for a new module for filing applications for recognition as a Pre-Shipment inspection Agency and issuance and verification of Pre-Shipment Inspection Certificate from May 01 2022.
DGFT stated that “as a part of IT Revamp, this Directorate proposes a new online module for filing of application for recognition as Pre-Shipment Inspection Agency (PSIA), electronic issuance of Pre-shipment Inspection Certificates (PSICs) and electronic verification of authenticity of the PSICs with effect from May 01, 2022.”
