The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has ordered to set up a joint panel with the Taj Trapezium zone Pollution Authority and the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board to prepare a remedial plan to deal with the hazardous violations to the Yamuna and the Taj.
This decision was given by the principal bench of NGT headed by Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel. The plea was against store crushers and other similar industries, which are alleged to have caused environmental harm.
