Types of NGO Registration in India

• Section 8 Company Registration: It incorporates the purpose of social welfare. It’s the same as the NGO Registration. The organisation established to promote art, commerce, science, religion, charity or any other relevant cause to the society’s progress.
• Trust Registration: You can register your NGO in India by selecting Trust Registration. Entities who go for Trust under the NGO Registration procedure are generally those which work with the elimination of poverty, providing medical relief
• Society Registration: Societies are also named as member-based organisations that work for charitable goals. These organisations are always run under governing body or a management committee.

After registration under NGO it is valuable to take Niti Aayog Registration, it is a Governmental portal that invites all the NGOs or Voluntary Organisations to sign up on the portal. The NGO Darpan was previously managed by Planning Commission, which has been replaced by the NITI Aayog. The online Niti Aayog Registration facilitates NGOs or VOs to get a system created unique ID as and when signed. Along with details such as PAN of the Organisation, Registration Number of the organisation, PAN and Aadhar details of the office Trustees, etc. By getting this Registration Certificate your NGO will be considered for centralised Non-Governmental Organisation list maintained by the Government.
