It prohibits the use of any name, emblems, official seal, etc. as stated in the act <strong>without prior<\/strong> permission of the competent authority. Moreover, it also prohibits the use of the name of \u2018<strong>national heroes\u2019<\/strong> and other names cited in the act. It\nmay include vocational training of household industry, semi-skilled jobs for\nself-employment, shorthand &amp; type-writing, social science, dialects, music,\npainting, physical working out etc.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The aims and objectives should\nbe to give the <strong>best education available<\/strong>\nin some of the best schools in a particular area. A greater emphasis would be\non <strong>shaping up of character<\/strong>,\nself-discipline &amp; the progression of the creative &amp; social faculties.\nThe Society aims at creating well informed &amp; well assured young children\njust the kind of children that our country needs.<\/li><li>The aims and objectives should\nbe to strive to meet the changing need of providing comprehensive education. It\nis to develop various sides of personality and to impart knowledge to children\non the most <strong>contemporary lines <\/strong>&amp;\ngive an environment suitable to growth as well as development of the\nchildren.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The aims and objectives should\nbe to arrange &amp; organize the social, <strong>cultural\n<\/strong>&amp; educational platforms from time to time basis.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The goals and objectives should\nbe utilizing all the <strong>income<\/strong>,\nearning, movable-immovable properties of the Society exclusively towards the\npromotion of its <strong>aim &amp; objects<\/strong>,\nas cited in the memorandum of association. It applies to the National\nCapital Territory of Delhi (<strong>NCR Region<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_should_be_the_Source_of_Income_of_Educational_Societies\"><\/span><strong>What should be the Source of Income of\nEducational Societies?&nbsp;<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the <strong>Society Registration Act, 1860<\/strong><sup><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mca.gov.in\/Ministry\/actsbills\/pdf\/Societies_Registration_Act_1860.pdf\"><strong>[1]<\/strong><\/a><\/sup>, the <strong>source of income<\/strong> of the educational Society shall consist of:- <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Fees acquired through <strong>Admissions<\/strong>,<\/li><li><strong>Capital\nfund <\/strong>of the Educational Society,<\/li><li>Funds acquired via <strong>Donations and Favours<\/strong>,&nbsp;<\/li><li>Funds obtained by all <strong>Subscription<\/strong> and donation from members\nof the Educational Society,<\/li><li>Funds received as aid from <strong>governments<\/strong>, semi-government,\ncharitable trusts, influential institutions, and associations.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Funds acquired in the name of\ncharity or donation or gifts from <strong>foreign\ncharitable interventions<\/strong> via any other sanctioned and authorized\nestablishments.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_about_Audit_of_Educational_Societies_Is_it_necessary\"><\/span><strong>What about Audit of Educational Societies? Is\nit necessary?&nbsp;<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes! It is essential to go for <strong>Auditing<\/strong> for every Educational Societies. Moreover, the\nmeeting of the General Body should be held once in every year with <strong>2\/3rd of its quorum.<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><li>In\nconsonance of the emergent meeting of the General Body, it may also be summoned\non the written request of <strong>3\/4th members<\/strong>\nwith specific days <strong>prior notice<\/strong> to\nthe meetings. He\nshall <strong>supervise<\/strong> over the meeting of\nthe General Body as well as the Governing Body. He will also get the right to <strong>cast a vote<\/strong> during elections in the\nsituation of a tie.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Powers of the Vice-Chairman<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Vice-Chairman of the Educational Society should act <strong>in the absence<\/strong> of the chairman. He also\nshall enjoy all powers which has delegated to the chairman.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Powers of the Secretary&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Secretary of the Educational Society gets the\npower:-&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>To <strong>sign<\/strong> on behalf of the educational Society, <\/li><li>To bear all its <strong>correspondence<\/strong>,<\/li><li>To record all the <strong>proceedings of meeting<\/strong> at his best,<\/li><li>To summon &amp;<strong>appear<\/strong> in the meeting of General Body\nof the educational Society, <\/li><li>To request and call any <strong>ordinary general<\/strong> meeting if preferred,\non written request.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Powers of the Treasurer&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Treasurer of the Educational Society shall <strong>keep accounts<\/strong> of all receipts &amp; expenses of the educational Society. The 3rd\nprovision to Under Section 10(23C) of the Income Tax Act provides for the\nfollowing two situations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li><strong>Use a minimum 85%:<\/strong>&nbsp;The educational institution shall spend at least 85% of total income receipts to claim the full exemption.
