This will come into force on October 01, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new order will bring new provisions related to standards, certification and enforcement of quality controls by replacing the Aluminium and Aluminium Alloy Products (Quality Control) Order, 2024. Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is the National Standard Body of India, responsible for the harmonious development of the activities for standardization, marking and quality certification of goods. As per the new order, the goods specified must pass the relevant Indian standards and be BIS certified. The official name of the order is \u201cAluminium and Aluminium Alloy Products (Quality Control) Order, 2025\u201d. It will be effective from October 01, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Order 2: Mandatory BIS Certification and Exemptions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Order 2 states the key features of Aluminium and Aluminium Alloy Products (Quality Control) Order, 2025. The key features mentioned in this clause are given below: &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Quality Standards Must Be Followed:<\/strong> Any Aluminium or Aluminium alloy products listed in the order must meet the Indian quality standards as well as have the<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/corpbiz.io\/isi-mark-certification\" title=\"ISI Mark registration\">ISI mark<\/a> <\/strong>from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) as per Scheme-I of Schedule-II of the BIS (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Export &amp; Research Based Products Are Not Included: <\/strong>The products that are exclusively manufactured for exports are not included in this clause. Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is the certifying and enforcing authority for the Aluminium and Aluminium Alloy Products (Quality Control) Order, 2025. BIS will be in charge of checking whether companies are following the rules and taking action if there are any violations in order.
