quantitative\nspecifications of the device;<\/li><li>Labelling details as per the\nDrugs &amp; Cosmetics Act, 1940;<\/li><li>Details of the facilities to\nconduct various tests in the manufacturing premises;<\/li><li>Details as to names &amp;\naddresses of the Company\u2019s Directors, the manufacturing address and the\nregistered office address;<\/li><li>Brand name under which the ENT medical\ndevice is to be manufactured;<\/li><li>The device category belongs to\n&amp; a detailed description of the medical device along with the intended\nusage, the methods of such usage &amp; specific storage conditions of the\nmedical device;<\/li><li>Details regarding variation in the\nsize and shape of the medical device along with the specifications of the\nmaterial used;<\/li><li>A detailed explanation of the\nmanufacturing process;<\/li><li>Details of any warnings,\nprecautions &amp; adverse effects to be taken while using the medical device\n&amp; a summary indication of any problem or issue which has been earlier\nreported;<\/li><li>Details of the facilities to\nconduct various tests in the manufacturing units or premises.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step-by-Step_Procedure_for_CDSCO_Registration_for_ENT_Medical_Devices\"><\/span>Step-by-Step\nProcedure for CDSCO Registration for ENT Medical Devices<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Following\nare the 4 steps involved in CDSCO Registration for ENT Medical Devices:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1: Determine whether your\nMedical Device is under notified list or not<\/strong>: The\nCDSCO has provided a detailed list of notified medical devices that need to\nmandatorily obtain Registration under the Drugs &amp; Cosmetics Act, 1940 &amp;\nin accordance with MDR, 2017. However, there may be any medical devices that\nhaven&#8217;t been notified by the concerned Authority\/in the case of a new medical\ndevice, the importer or manufacturer shall be required to obtain a No Objection\nCertificate (NOC) in such instances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2: Appoint an AIR (in case\nof a Foreign Entity)<\/strong>: For a Foreign Business\nManufacturer or entity, it shall be important to appoint an authorised business\nrepresentative in India who shall be the contact person or individual for the\ninspection authorities during the process, help in approvals, registrations\nprocess &amp; vigilance adverse event reporting. The Indian Authorisation\nshould also hold a Wholesale Drug License in Forms 20B &amp; 21B.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3: Filing Application<\/strong>:\nIn this important step, the manufacturer or importer of Medical Devices must\nsubmit the Registration form for CDSCO Registration for ENT Medical Devices along\nwith the required documents and prescribed fee on the official website of CDSCO\nto the Drugs Controller General of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 4: Get a Registration\nCertificate<\/strong>: Once the application for CDSCO Registration\nfor ENT Medical Devices is submitted, the Authority may send a query or\nquestion through an inquiry letter to the manufacturer\/from the Authorised\nIndian Representative of the importer along with the given timeline within\nwhich the query should be answered.
