The steps involved in software company Registration in India\nare laid down below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Apply\nfor Digital Signature Certificates<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All the shareholders and directors who have\nsubscribed to the Memorandum of Association (MoA) &amp; Articles of Association\n(AoA) must obtain Digital Signature Certificates or DSC. Digital Signature\nCertificate is imperative to legally sign documents digitally and ensure a safe\nway to electronically submit documents. It is also a necessary component while\nfilling out any form on the Ministry of Corporate Affairs website. A Digital\nSignature Certificate is valid for a period of 2 years and can be obtained by\napproved agencies authorized by the Controller of Certification Agencies or\nCCA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Apply\nfor Director Identification Number<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Directors of the proposed software company must\nobtain a valid Director Identification Number or DIN by filling out an\napplication as provided under Form DIR-3 on the Ministry of Corporate Affairs\nwebsite. One needs to open a registered user account on the Ministry of\nCorporate Affairs portal for this step. The company must\nreserve a distinctive name for itself by filling out Part A of the Spice + Form\nand proposing two distinctive names in the Form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Apply\nfor the Corporate Identification Number<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Corporate Identification Number or CIN, is a\nnumber which is unique to every company and can be used to check the activities\nof the company. Once the legal status of a company as a Private Limited\nCompany\/an LLP\/a sole proprietorship has been decided, one can apply for the\nCorporate Identification Number to the Registrar of Companies. The Registrar of\nCompanies shall provide the Corporate Identification Number only after\nassessing the necessary forms and applications filed and after being satisfied\nwith the sufficiency of the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Apply\nfor a Certificate of Incorporation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After the Registrar of Companies has scrutinized,\nreviewed the applications and documents submitted and verified the same, the\nnext is to apply for the Certificate of Incorporation. The PAN and TAN for the\ncompany are provided along with the Certificate of Incorporation. The\nincorporation certificate is proof of the registered status of the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The certificate of incorporation, once granted,\nremains valid perpetually and till the time the company winds up.
