In the case of any doubt based on the\nmodule inspection&amp; the examination of the circuit diagram &amp; in\nagreement with the Manufacturer or the responsible vendor, such prepared\nmodules must be submitted for testing so that a fault condition can be solved.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General Test Requirements for\nStandalone LED Modules for General Lightning<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Following\nare some test requirements for Standalone LED Modules:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Tests as per this Standard shall be type tests. The\nrequirements &amp; tolerance permitted by this standard are related to testing\nof a Type Test sample submitted by the Manufacturer for that purpose.\nCompliance with the type test sample doesn&#8217;t ensure compliance of the whole\nproduction of a manufacturer with this safety standard. Conformity of\nproduction is the Manufacturer\u2019s responsibility and may need Routine Tests\n&amp; Quality Assurance in addition to Type Testing.<\/li><li>Unless otherwise defined, the Type Test must be\ncarried out on one sample consisting of one\/more products submitted for the\nType Test. Generally, all tests must be carried out on each type of module\/where\na range of identical modules is involved for each wattage in the range\/on a\nrespective selection from the range, as agreed with the Manufacturer.<\/li><li>The tests must be carried out at an ambient\ntemperature of 25 \u00b1 2\u00b0C.<\/li><li>If the light output has detectably altered, the\nmodule shall not be used for further tests.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Basic Requisite for BIS CRS\nCertification for Standalone LED Modules for General Lightning<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To get\nBIS CRS Certification for Standalone LED Modules for General Lightning, the\nManufacturer or applicant must fulfil the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li><strong>Product<\/strong>: Each\nproduct or item requires its own BIS License or Certificate, but if the same\nproduct or item category covers multiple models, then one License or\nRegistration will not cover all the models of a similar product category.
