The Bureau of Indian Standards determined on July 3rd that all models falling under the category of Electronic Musical Systems with Input Power 200W and above needed to register with BIS to be sold in the Indian consumer market. The Indian Standard IS 616:2017 should be followed when using an electronic musical instrument. The BIS Registration is required to launch any musical system in the Indian market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
