It\u2019s a unique\nnumber generated &amp; assigned by the EPFO (Employee Provident Fund\nOrganisation). The Ministry of Labour &amp; Employment authenticities UAN under\nthe directives of the Government of India. This UAN number remains the same for\neach employee throughout their life, irrespective of the number of times they\nhave joined new organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Importance of UAN<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>UAN is vital to check the debits &amp; credits in\nthe PF account;<\/li><li>The unique number remains the same until the\nretirement of an employee;<\/li><li>With this UAN number, individuals can withdraw\n&amp; transfer funds without relying on the employer;<\/li><li>The online processing of PF accounts helps\nemployees to access the account freely;<\/li><li>With UAN, employees can track monthly deposits.\nHowever, the respective employee has to be registered on the EPFO.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Various_Services_under_EPF_Member_E-Sewa_Portal\"><\/span>Various Services under EPF\nMember E-Sewa Portal<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Following are various services under <a href=\"https:\/\/corpbiz.io\/epf-registration\"><strong>EPF<\/strong><\/a> Member E-Sewa Portal:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>View: <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol><li><strong>Profile: <\/strong>The UAM employee portal hasyour complete EPF profile and this section contains information on your details like UAN, Name, Gender, and Date of Birth. Some of the fields or section are editable, which can be done by authenticating by OTP.<\/li><li><strong>UAN Card:<\/strong> In this portal, you can download your UAN Card and this is helpful for EPF-related work to carry offline.<\/li><li><strong>Service History:<\/strong> All the organisations you have worked with are shown in this section and you can also check some details like Member IDs, Organisation Name, your joining &amp; ending date, and other details regarding the Employee Pension Scheme.<\/li><li><strong>EPF Passbook:<\/strong> Here, you can see the amount of employee and employer share towards the fund. And, the fund contribution to the pension scheme is also visible.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Manage:<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol><li><strong>Basic Details: <\/strong>This section in E-Sewa Portal deals with changing our basic details, updating new information like education, etc.<\/li><li><strong>KYC:<\/strong> All KYC (Know Your Customer) details can be updated in this section. These details include Bank details, PAN, Driving License, Passport, etc. Also, you need to upload supporting documents along with the KYC details and the employer should verify the same. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Online Services:<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol><li><strong>Claim (Form 31, 19, and 10C): <\/strong>This particular section deals with the withdrawal of PFs. The EPFO has introduced the claim forms to facilitate withdrawal of PF in full or partial. This claim section includes 3 different forms (Form 31, 19 &amp; 10C). <\/li><li><strong>Transfer:<\/strong> You can also request the transfer of your PF amount from the earlier account into the current one. Before applying for a transfer of PF on the EPFO UAN portal, you should ensure that KYC details are updated.<\/li><li><strong>Track EPF Claim Status:<\/strong> You can also track your EPF claim status on the UAN Login Portal.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Find_UAN_Number_via_e-Sewa_Portal\"><\/span>How to Find UAN Number via\ne-Sewa Portal?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>An employee can find their UAN number directly\nthrough his or her employer or salary slip;<\/li><li>Alternatively, the employee can also obtain a UAN\nNumber via the EPF Member E-Sewa Portal using their member ID or PF number by\nproviding the following details:<\/li><li>Name;<\/li><li>Date of Birth;<\/li><li>Mobile Number;<\/li><li>Email Id.<\/li><li>After entering all the details then, click on the\nGet Authorisation PIN;<\/li><li>Then you will get an authorisation PIN to your\nregistered mobile number. Click on the Validate OTP and get the UAN tab after\nentering the OTP;<\/li><li>After that, you will receive the UAN Number on\nyour mobile number.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Know_Your_UAN_Status\"><\/span>Know Your UAN Status<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To know\nyour UAN (Universal Account Number) status, an employee with an EPF account can\nfollow the steps given below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>First, you need to visit the UAN portal;<\/li><li>Then click the &#8220;Know your UAN&#8221; button;<\/li><li>Enter your mobile number and click on\n&#8220;Request OTP&#8221;;<\/li><li>You will get an OTP at your registered mobile\nnumber. Enter the OTP and click on validate OTP;<\/li><li>You can choose your Member ID, Pan or Aadhar. If\nyou select the member ID option, the other details, such as the state you\nreside in &amp; your office, will have to be filled in.
