Those goods cover electrical equipment products &amp; industrial\nproducts also. Then the applicant needs to identify &amp; choose an ISI Product Code\nfor their product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2: Fill out the Application Form for\nISI Mark Registration:<\/strong> In this step, the applicant needs to fill the <strong><em>Form-V<\/em><\/strong>\napplication for ISI Certification with the prescribed fees. In addition, the\napplicant needs to pay inspection fees and registration fees for further\ninspection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3: Inspection of the manufacturing\npremises by the BIS Officer:<\/strong> The BIS officer and BIS authorised Inspection\nteam shall visit the applicant&#8217;s manufacturing premises, and the inspection\nteam shall thoroughly inspect the quality control &amp; manufacturing process\nof the applicant\u2019s factory. The BIS Officer and Inspection team shall collect\nsome product samples and send the product samples for testing in the BIS\nauthorised laboratory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 4: Submit the Test Report:<\/strong> The\napplicant needs to obtain the test report from the authorised laboratory and\nsubmit it to the BIS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 5: Issuance of ISI Registration\nCertificate:<\/strong> Once all the above steps are successfully completed with\nproper verification of the test report of the sample product, then the\nauthority shall grant an ISI Registration Certificate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Renewal_of_ISI_Registration_Certificate\"><\/span>Renewal of ISI Registration\nCertificate<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The ISI\nCertification is valid for one year and the same can be renewed by filling out\nthe renewal application and paying the mentioned renewal fees. A Practising\nChartered Accountant needs to verify the application for renewal of ISI Mark\nCertification.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Penalty_for_misuse_of_ISI_Mark_Certificate\"><\/span>Penalty for misuse of ISI Mark\nCertificate<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If the manufacturer\/producer\nof any products imitates a registered mark, shall punish the manufacturer with\njail for up to 1 year or a penalty of 50000\/- rupees or both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conclusion\"><\/span>Conclusion<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>ISI Certification markings are crucial for consumers to identify the products they buy and verify that the producers uphold a specified standard.
