IS Code:<\/strong>\nfirstly, you are required to choose the product quality as mentioned in the\nIndian Standard Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2: Fill out the Application Form:<\/strong>\nafter selecting the IS Code, then you have to file the registration application\nform (<strong>Form-V<\/strong>). Submit all the\nessential documents with the application. In addition, submit the required fees\nfor the certification and inspection of your factory premise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3: Inspection of the Factory Premise:<\/strong>\nAfter the successful submission of the application form, the inspection team\nvisit the factory premise. The inspection team will take samples or\nproducts for testing in BIS authorized lab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 4: Collect the Test Report:<\/strong> Get\nthe test report of the product sample done by the BIS authorized lab and submit\nit to the BIS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 5: Issuance of BIS ISI mark\ncertification:<\/strong> BIS, after the proper verification of the application and\ntest report, will issue a BIS ISI certificate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Misuse_of_BIS_ISI_Mark\"><\/span>Misuse of BIS ISI Mark<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Unscrupulous manufacturers use the BIS ISI mark and cheat consumers without actually applying for the license by BIS.
