The applicant needs to\nidentify &amp; choose an Indian Standard Institute (ISI) Standard product Code\nfor their steel product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2: fulfil up the Application Form for\nobtaining BIS ISI for Steel Product: <\/strong>After selecting the steel product\ncode, the applicant needs to apply for BIS ISI Certification. For this, the\nForm-V application is filled for obtaining BIS ISI certification with the\nrequired registration fees. Moreover, the applicant must pay audit fees and\nregistration fees for further inspection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3: Inspection of the Factory area by\nthe BIS Officer: <\/strong>The BIS Inspection team will visit the applicant&#8217;s factory\nlocation. Further, the team will thoroughly examine the quality control &amp;\nmanufacturing process of the applicant&#8217;s factory location. The Inspection team\ncollected some steel products as samples and sent the same for testing in BIS\nauthorised Lab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 4: Submit a copy of the test report<\/strong>:\nThe applicant needs to obtain the steel product samples report from the BIS\nauthorised Lab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 5: Issuance of ISI Certificate<\/strong>: Once the procedure of applying &amp; verifying the documents, test report, &amp; application form (Form-V) is completed, the BIS authority grants a certificate of <a href=\"https:\/\/corpbiz.io\/isi-mark-certification\"><strong>ISI Mark Registration<\/strong><\/a>. Usually, acquiring BIS ISI for steel products takes 30 days, starting from the date of application submission.
