Private Vehicles are scrapped after 15 years once they are\ndeclared unfit for the teat. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Pre-Requisite_Conditions_for_acquiring_Car_Scrap_Dealer_License_in_Gurgaon\"><\/span>Pre-Requisite Conditions for acquiring Car Scrap Dealer License in Gurgaon<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To set up a Car Scrapping business in Gurgaon, one has to\nfulfil certain pre-requisite conditions as notified by the Ministry of Road\nTransport and Highways which are: &#8211; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/corpbiz.io\/authorized-vehicle-scrapping-facility-avsf\"><strong>Authorised vehicle Scrapping facility<\/strong><\/a> must be operated by the legal entity that is authorised by the state authorities including any person, company, firm, or a business<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The corporation or authorised person must have Valid GST Registration, Valid PAN Card, and Certificate of Incorporation <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apart from this the corporation or authorised person must also have or apply for a Consent to Establish Certificate from Haryana State Pollution Control Board.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They must also meet minimum technical requirements according to the guidelines published by Central Pollution Control Board for collection and dismantling centres. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They should also have qualified workers and authorised equipment to carry out activities that are environmentally sustainable and safe. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The corporation or authorised person must also have or apply for a Consent to Operation Certificate from Haryana State Pollution Control Board.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They should adhere to the provisions of various labour laws including the Workers Compensation Act, Minimum wages act, Employees Provident Fund Act, etc. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They should also provide evidence that they have sufficient space required for the operation of the Scrap dealing Business. The minimum standard for land is 4000 sqm or 8000 sqm for the orange category industrial zone of Gurgaon. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They should have security certifications for IT systems for safe access to the VAHAN database <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At last they should have a proper environment management plan for the facility.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Vehicles_Authorised_for_Scrapping\"><\/span>Vehicles Authorised for Scrapping <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The vehicles that can be given to the authorised scrapper: &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>The vehicle that has not been renewed in\naccordance with Rule 52 of their Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 their\nOriginal authorisation Certificate. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The vehicle which according to section 62 of the\nact has not been authorised for the certificate of fitness <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vehicles that are damaged due to fire, riot,\naccidents, natural disaster, or any natural calamity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vehicles that are declared to be extra,\nobsolete, or which are beyond economic repair by state authorities and are\noffered for scrapping.&nbsp; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vehicles that are bought to the authorised\nscraper by any third party or agency including the Authorised Vehicle Scrapping\nFacility. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vehicles that have surpassed their usage or\napplicant. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vehicles that are abandoned, auctioned or\nimpounded by any Enforcement agency.&nbsp; <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Process_of_acquiring_Car_Scrap_Dealer_License_in_Gurgaon\"><\/span>Process of acquiring Car Scrap Dealer License in Gurgaon<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The process of acquiring the Car Scrap Dealer License in\nGurgaon is mandated by The Ministry of Road, Transport, and Highways and the\nHaryana State Authorities. The Process includes: &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Firstly the applicant has to fill and submit the\nFORM-1 addressing the licensing authorities of the Haryana State Authorities\nalong with the processing fees and An Earnest Money Deposit. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Licensing Authority must dispose of the\napplication within 30 days from the date of application for grant of Car Scrap\nDealer License in Gurgaon. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The application who has received authorisation\nmust be granted authorisation in Form 1A <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In case the authorisation is not granted the\napplication is refunded for Earnest Money\/Bank guarantee. However, the processing\nfees are not refunded.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After the license for Car Scrap Dealer is\ngranted to the applicant they are also required to register with the Central\nPollution Control Board and the Haryana Pollution Control Board <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Validity_and_Renewal_of_Authorisation\"><\/span>Validity and Renewal of Authorisation <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The authorisation for a Car Scrap Dealer License is valid\nfor a period of 10 years which can be renewed for another 10 years provided\nthat the car scrap dealer is not in violation of any guidelines prescribed by\nThe Ministry of Road, Transport, and Highways and the Haryana State Authorities\nor any other applicable laws.
