This will also result in demand for other\nwood-based products such as Particle Boards, Medium Density Fiber Boards, etc. which\nwill enhance the competition in neighbouring states estimated to be within the\nnext few years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a lot of registrations and licenses involved\nin establishing a factory. One of the most essential Acts is The Factory Act of\n1948. According to Factory Act, 1948, all the manufacturing companies that own\nany factory in Uttar Pradesh have to compulsorily register their property area\nwith the local governing authority of UP before any initiation of business. The\nChief Inspector (CI) of the Labour Commissioner Organisation grants the\nnecessary license after the registration of the factory is completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The procedure for registration and\nLicense for Plywood factory in Uttar Pradesh is mentioned under Section 6 of\nFactories Act, 1948, which states \u2013 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Detailed depiction of\nproduction lines or business strategies of any class must be submitted to the\nChief Inspector or The State Government.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Substitution or\ngrowing of any plant or manufacturing machines within stated limits won&#8217;t be\ncharged furthermore for augmentation of the factory whenever associated with a\nsafe work environment and favourable conditions. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The manufacturing companies that\nown any factory in Uttar Pradesh also have to mandatorily comply with the rules\nenacted by the State Government of Uttar Pradesh set in U.P. in \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Saw Mills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Veneer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plywood<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Veneer along\nwith Plywood<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stand Alone\nChipper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medium Density\nFiberboard (MDF) or High Density Fiberboard (HDF)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Particle Board<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medium Density\nFiberboard (MDF) or High-Density Fiberboard (HDF) along with Particle Board<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon the arrival of the due date\nof the online applications submissions, i.e., 15<sup>th<\/sup> June 2018, 13433\nout of 15000 applications were accepted for authentication. On 12<sup>th<\/sup>\nDecember 2018, the Government of Uttar Pradesh granted licenses to 815\napplicants in the business of manufacturing wood-based products of the list\nmentioned above. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_Factory_License\"><\/span>What is Factory License?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The government of India enacted the <strong>Factory Act, 1978<\/strong><sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Factories_Act,_1948_(India)\"><strong>[1]<\/strong><\/a><\/sup>, for the underprivileged workers to maintain safety and provide favourable working conditions. According to the act, it is mandatory for all the factories to register their factory property with the local authority.
