Furthermore, it should enclose the following detail:<ul><li>Proposed location of brick kiln<\/li><li>Size of the brick kiln<\/li><li>Type thereof<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Documents_to_be_attested_with_the_application_for_establishing_brick_kilns\"><\/span>Documents to be attested with the application for\nestablishing brick kilns<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>The site plan and Revenue extract reflect the title, location, type, and status of the land. The concerned Tehsildar should approve both these documents.<\/li><li>No Objection Certificates from the followings;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong><em>Deputy Commissioner<\/em><\/strong><\/li><li><a class=\"text-primary\" href=\"https:\/\/corpbiz.io\/state-pollution-control-board-spcb-noc\"><strong><em>State Pollution Control Board<\/em><\/strong><\/a><strong><em> ;<\/em><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><em>Wildlife Warden<\/em><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><em>Divisional Forest Officer<\/em><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><em>District Agriculture Officer<\/em><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><em>Director, Geology and Mining ;<\/em><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><em>Block Medical Officer<\/em><\/strong><sup><a href=\"https:\/\/health.mp.gov.in\/en\/block-medical-officers\"><strong><em>[1]<\/em><\/strong><\/a><\/sup><strong><em> <\/em><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><em>The Executive Engineer (PWD\/R&amp;B)<\/em><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><em>Tehsil Education Officer<\/em><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><em>Tehsildar<\/em><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Legal_checks_to_be_made_by_licensing_authority\"><\/span>Legal checks to be made by licensing authority<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Before issuing license under sub-section\n(5) of Brick Kilns (Regulation) Act, 2010, the licensing authority shall make\nsome legal checks in regard to the application on account of the followings;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(a) The suitability of the region wherein\nthe proposed brick kiln is to be set up;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(b) The number of brick kilns functional\nin the region;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(c) Health and environmental impact of\nsuch kiln on nearby habitat, agricultural land water resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(d) Type of land where such a kiln is\nproposed to be set-up<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Validity_of_Brickkiln_License\"><\/span>Validity of Brickkiln License <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A license issued under the Brick Kilns\n(Regulation) Act, 2010 shall remain valid for two years from the date of its\nissuance. The licensing authority can renew such a license for two years\nprovided the licensee has secured the Royalty Clearance Certificate from the\nGeology &amp; Mining Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Obligations_for_licensee_after_securing_the_brick_kilns_license\"><\/span>Obligations for licensee after securing the brick\nkilns license<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>As soon as the applicants receive the brick kiln license, they are required to seek registration of the brick kiln from the relevant Industries and Commerce Department. It is mandatory to do so before setting up the brick kiln.<\/li><li>Every licensee is obligated to ensure adherence to the pollution control norms. In view of this, the licensee shall take all measures, adopt such practices and install such equipment meant for the environmental protection and pollution control as directed by the authority concerned.<\/li><li>Air pollution triggered by exhaust emissions, dust or fumes shall be curtailed and kept well under the threshold limit as specified under the governing laws.<\/li><li>Every registered Kiln owner shall extract and consume the clay for brick manufacturing after securing a valid permit on payment royalty as prescribed by the Geology and Mining Department.<\/li><li>Non-payment of royalty shall lead to consequences such as cancellation of licence and recovery of royalty, fine, and penalty.<\/li><li>The bricks produced by the registered kiln owner shall adhere to the norms set forth by the Indian Bureau of Standards or any other agencies authorized on this behalf. Any non-conformity in this context shall be subjected to penalties u\/s 21 of <strong><a class=\"text-primary\" href=\"https:\/\/corpbiz.io\/learning\/brick-kilns-regulation-2010\/\">Brick Kilns (Regulation) Act, 2010.<\/a> <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"An_Overview_of_Indian_Brick_Sector\"><\/span>An Overview of Indian Brick Sector<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The contribution of the construction industry is accounted for 10 percent of the nation&#8217;s GDP, which leads to a 9 percent of annual growth rate.
