Scroll down to check the E-Waste Management Authorisation Process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Electronic\nequipment listed in schedule one comprising their components consumable spots\n&amp; spares which make the product working but shall not apply to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Micro-enterprises as mentioned\nin the <strong><em>MSME Development Act, 2006 27 of 2006<\/em><\/strong>;<\/li><li>Used lead-acid batteries as\ncovered under the <strong><em>Batteries Management &amp; Handling Rules, 2001<\/em><\/strong> made under the\nAct;<\/li><li>Radioactive wastes as cited\nunder the provisions of the <strong><em>Atomic Energy Act, 1932 and Rules<\/em><\/strong>\nmade thereunder.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>E-Waste Management Rules, 2016<\/em><\/strong> was informed by the Ministry of Environment Forests &amp; Climate change on the 23<sup>rd<\/sup> March 2016, which are effective from 1<sup>st<\/sup> October 2016. E-waste is a type of waste generated from discarded obsolete electronic parts or products like televisions, computers, cell phones, a piece of a motherboard, etc. <strong><a class=\"text-primary\" href=\"https:\/\/corpbiz.io\/e-waste-recycling-authorization\">E-Waste <\/a><\/strong>can be highly harmful as it can lead to different harmful diseases due to coming in direct contact with several dangerous chemicals like chromium, <strong>PBC (Polychlorinated Biphenyls)<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/pcbs\/learn-about-polychlorinated-biphenyls-pcbs\"><strong>[1]<\/strong><\/a><\/sup>\n<\/strong>, inhalations of toxic fumes, or from accumulations in the water, food, or soil. Major sources of e-waste comprise wastes from houses, IT companies, and improper disposal of electronic &amp; connected parts from any other such sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"An_Overview_of_E-Waste_Management\"><\/span>An Overview of\nE-Waste Management <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>E-Waste Management &amp; Handling Rules, 2011 has been informed by more EPS; this rule will be effective from 1<sup>st<\/sup> May 2012.
