The section\nbelow shows the procedures for both circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\napplicant of a trade license can opt for any region within the\nMunicipality\/Corporation limit for any of the purposes cited in schedule 5 of\nthe Tamil Nadu districts Municipalities Act, 1920\/ Schedule 4 of the Coimbatore\nCity Municipal Corporation Act, 1981\/ Schedule-4 of the Madurai City Municipal\nAct, 1971. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>The\nsection below discussess the procedure to apply for a trade permit in the urban\nlocales of Tamil Nadu:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1:- Secure Form- 1<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>First,\nhead over to the official portal of the Tamil Nadu government to secure Form-1\nby furnishing a fee of Rs. 5. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2:- Fill out the requested Details.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The\napplicant is required to fill out the following detail in the said form; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The\nname of the applicant, <\/li><li>The age\nof the applicant, <\/li><li>The\npurpose of utilization of the property in question,<\/li><li>Mobile\/telephone\nnumber<\/li><li>Residential\naddress<\/li><li>Name of\nthe owner of the building<\/li><li>Trade\nlicense address <\/li><li>Property\ntax Number<\/li><li>Date\nfor the previous year<\/li><li>Timeline\nof the license requirement<\/li><li>Monthly\nrentals payable for the building<\/li><li>Area of\nbusiness<\/li><li>The\ndetails relating to other licenses issued previously<\/li><li>The receipt no. of the license amount and date,<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Please\nnote that the applicant must enclose his\/her signature in the application.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3:- application submission<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Next,\nfurnish the duly filled application before the prescribed timeline to the\nCommissioner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4: Application vetting <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nCommissioner shall then vet the application to determine whether everything\ncomplies. Upon successful vetting, the Commissioner shall prompt the applicant\nto submit the license fee <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conditions_around_Renewal_of_trade_license\"><\/span>Conditions around Renewal of trade license <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The\napplicant has to apply got the Renewal after the expiration of the terms of the\nlicense. Before March 1st in Municipalities and 45 days before starting the FY\nin corporations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Process_of_Registration_in_Panchayat\"><\/span>Process of Registration in Panchayat<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The process of registering in a Panchayat varies from that of a corporation or a municipality. The registration process for the latter is mentioned below: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1:- File e-application<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit\nthe E-town panchayat website and fill out the prescribed application. Do not\nforget to attach the requested documents in the standard format. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2:- Inspection decision by Sanitary Inspector<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nduly filled application shall reach the sanitary inspector, who will set the\ndate for performing a vetting procedure. An intimation of the same shall be\nshared with the applicant via email and SMS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3:- Inspection and Reporting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The\ninspector vets the business place and the machinery. Post\nthis, he\/she may opt to perform another vetting procedure if the situation\ndemands so. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In case\nof any errors in the file will send it back to the concerned officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 7:-Forward to the Executive Officer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sanitary Officer shares the file with the executive officer for verification and <strong>approval<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Approval\"><strong>[1]<\/strong><\/a><\/sup>\n<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 8:- Demand Notice<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Post-approval\nof the application, the authority concerned shall issue the demand notice\ndirecting the applicant to submit the fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 9:- Issuance of License<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nlicense is granted to the concerned application post submission of the\nprescribed fees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Rectifications\nto the Document<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the\nconcerned parties come across any errors in the application, the same must be\nshared with the official concerned within 15 days of receiving it.
