It&#8217;s a public\nauthority that is part of the Ministry of Health &amp; Family Welfare. The\nFSSAI was first introduced and was founded in 2006 under the Food Safety &amp;\nStandards Act, and it is mainly responsible for food safety &amp; regulation in\nIndia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FSSAI is also concerned with <strong>food safety<\/strong>, proper maintenance, and quality. As an outcome, FSSAI issues registrations or licenses to companies that handle, pack, manufacture, and sell food. Moreover, the FSSAI aims to ensure food purity and the removal of contaminated &amp; low-quality food. An FBOs eligibility for FSSAI License is determined by various factors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, Food Business Operators face problems in retaining their present FSSAI Registration Number or License in case they change address in FSSAI License or change the premises of their food units. Food Business Operators (FBOs) need to surrender the existing FSSAI License and apply for a new license. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To facilitate or help the food businesses in retaining the present FSSAI License, even if they change or alter the food unit location, FSSAI has now enabled a new provision for changing address in FSSAI License in FoSCoS or Food Safety Compliance System while applying for modification of FSSAI License or Registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Documents_Required_to_Change_Address_in_FSSAI_License\"><\/span>Documents\nRequired to Change Address in FSSAI License<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nFood Business Operators need to upload the following documents for modification\nto change the address in FSSAI License:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Supporting document for the\nobjective of modification on the letterhead;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any document which is needed by\nthe licensing authority to make sure food safety.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Procedure_to_Change_Address_in_FSSAI_License\"><\/span>Procedure to\nChange Address in FSSAI License<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>TO\nchange address in FSSAI License, Food Business Operators need to submit an\nonline application through FoSCoS&amp; possess a valid receipt of the\napplication having a 17 digit application reference number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>First, the Food Business\nOperator need to login into the official website of FoSCoS; a dashboard will be\nshown; you have to click the modification option, and the FBO can change the respective\nFSSAI License.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>During the modification of the\nFSSAI License with the requisite fee for change in the jurisdiction, an\nautomatic online application for transfer will be sent to the present\nauthority.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The concerned authority will\nexamine the application within 15 days of receiving the application. The\ncomment related to the application, in case of no comments on the transfer\napplication by the existing authority, the application will be auto-approved by\nthe system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then the application for\nmodification will be forward to the concerned licensing authority, who shall\nexamine the application &amp; approve it as per the <strong><em>FSS (Licensing &amp; Registration\nof Food Businesses) Regulation, 2011<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the application is\napproved, the license with its history will shift to the destined licensing\nauthority.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Note<\/em><\/strong>:\nIf an application for the modification in FSSAI License is rejected by the\nFSSAI Authority, the particular FBO is required to stop their business\noperation till the modification part gets completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Fees_Structure\"><\/span>Fees Structure<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The fee structure for applying the <a href=\"https:\/\/corpbiz.io\/fssai-license\" title=\"FSSAI License\"><strong>FSSAI License<\/strong><\/a> Modification to change address in FSSAI License is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>\n  <strong>Details<\/strong>\n  <\/td><td>\n  <strong>Fee<\/strong>\n  <\/td><\/tr><tr><td>\n  Modification of FSSAI License\n  and Registration Certificate\n  <\/td><td>\n  Rs. 1000\/- for LicenseRs. 100 for Registration\n  \n  <\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>According to FSSAI Notification dates June 16 2021, Food Business Operator is not needed to pay the fee modification of license till October 31, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conclusion\"><\/span>Conclusion<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>By following the steps, you can change address in FSSAI License and you can also change other information that you want to change.
