The method of registration of PIBOs under Plastic Waste\nManagement Rules at CPCB is being saved in abeyance for 90 days with immediate\neffects. It will be continued upon final notification of Extended Producer\nguidelines by MoEF &amp;CC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this way, the PIBOs\nmight step up and realign their EPR plan according to the said draft\nnotification during the interceding time frame. The Amended Standard Operating\nProcedure for Registration of PIBOs (Producers, Importers, and Brand-Owners)\nUnder Plastic Waste Management Rules 2016 has been distributed&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It should be acknowledged\nthat PIBOs have the adaptability to do the EPR satisfaction through their\ndispersion channel, direct commitment with Statutory Urban local bodies\/State\nassigned authority, or engagement with Waste Management Agency which in order\nshould engage with Statutory Urban local bodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_EPR_Action_Plan\"><\/span>What\nis EPR Action Plan?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For <a href=\"https:\/\/corpbiz.io\/plastic-waste-management-authorization\"><strong>Plastic Waste Management<\/strong><\/a>, EPR Action Plan must be put together by PIBOs (working in more than two states) for getting registration from CPCB. For the same, PIBOs shall satisfy Extended Producer responsibility in all the States\/UTs in which they are presenting their products. EPR Target for a specific State\/UT will equal the kind and quantum of Plastic presented by them in the market (post-consumer waste) in the particular State\/UT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per Annexure I, The\nProducer, Importer, and Brand owners have three alternatives for implementation\nof the EPR plan for PWM in the States\/UTs in which they are introducing their\nproducts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>a) Through their Own\nDistribution Channel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>b) Through Direct\ncommitment with Urban Local Body&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>c) Through commitment\nwith Waste Management Agency (WMA), <\/strong>which in return should\nengage with ULBs and thePIBOs will have the choice of taking up\nany or all of the above options. However, it needs tobe guaranteed\nthat the total type and quantum of plastic waste managed through theseoptions\nin a specific State\/UT meet the EPR focus of the concerned PIBO for theparticular\nState\/UT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Application_to_be_submitted_to_the_CPCB_for_PIBOs_registration_under_PWM_Rules_2016\"><\/span>Application\nto be submitted to the CPCB for PIBOs registration under PWM Rules, 2016<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>CPCB is the authority charged with the responsibility of seeing the Producers, Importer, and Brand owner&#8217;s registration process. The application for registration is required to be applied through an online portal. For application format, an applicant shall consider the FORM-1 as given under the<strong> PWM Rules,2016<\/strong><sup><a href=\"https:\/\/cpcb.nic.in\/rules-4\/\"><strong>[1]<\/strong><\/a><\/sup>. One thing that the PIBOs should keep in mind is the application for registration. It is necessary to submit an EPR plan along with requisite fees. The action plan should be raised regarding every state\/UTs wherein the PIBOs introduce Plastic in the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"List_of_Documents_required_for_PIBOs_registration_under_PWM_rules2016\"><\/span>List\nof Documents required for PIBOs registration under PWM rules,2016<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Below mentioned are the\ndocuments needed for the registration-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Copy of valid Consent to Operate.\u00a0<\/li><li>Copy of certificate of registration issued by the District Industries Centre or Ministry of Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises.\u00a0<\/li><li>Manufacturing process flowchart &amp; Description.\u00a0<\/li><li>Particulars of Pollution Control devices.\u00a0<\/li><li>Images of the unit\/production site.\u00a0<\/li><li>Particulars and related documents of Plastic packaging supplied to\/ Acquired.
