The different Trademark\nregistration status and its meanings are as given below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New\nApplication<\/strong>\u2013 The new application has to be filed with the\ntrademark office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Formalities\nCheck Pass<\/strong>\u2013&nbsp; When the\napplication is correctly filed and is complying with all the formalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Formalities\nCheck Fail<\/strong>\u2013 when the application is not correctly filed and you will\nhave to adhere or correct the failure by filing an amendment form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Send to\nVienna Codification<\/strong>\u2013 If the application contains label or logo then\nit is given a numerical code and the data is organized according to Vienna\ncodification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Marked\nfor Exam<\/strong>\u2013 The application will be checked by the Examiner of\nTrademarks and he will decide whether the application qualifies with the\nrequirements of the Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Objected<\/strong>\u2013 When\nthe application is objected by the Trademark Registry the applicant has to\nclarify the objection with a reply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exam\nReport Issued<\/strong>\u2013 This report would contain that whether the\napplication has been accepted or any other inquiry has been raised by the\nexaminer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ready\nfor Show Cause Hearing<\/strong>\u2013 when the application is issued for\nhearing in the Court and the applicant has to explain the reasons that why it\nmust not be abandoned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Abandoned<\/strong>\u2013 when\nthe applicant fails to give response within the given time then it is marked as\nabandoned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Advertised\nbefore accepted <\/strong>\u2013 when the trademark is published in the Journal\nbut third party can oppose the mark before it s finally accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Accepted\n&amp; Advertised<\/strong>\u2013 when the trademark is finally published in the\nTrademark Journal with the user evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Opposed-<\/strong>&nbsp;\nWhen the third party files application for opposition to Trademark Application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Registered-&nbsp;<\/strong>thetrademark has been successfully\nregistered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Refused-<\/strong>&nbsp;Application\nis refused if the examiner is not satisfied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Invalid-<\/strong>&nbsp;An\nApplication fee is not submitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Withdrawn<\/strong>\u2013&nbsp; the trademark application has been\nvoluntarily withdrawn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rectification\nFiled<\/strong>\u2013 The third party files the rectification application to\nremove the trademark application from the&nbsp;\nTrademarks Registers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Accepted<\/strong>\u2013\nTrademark accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cancelled<\/strong>\u2013\nTrademark application has been cancelled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Appeal-<\/strong>&nbsp;when\nany appeal is pending before the IPAB on the examiner\u2019s order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Review<\/strong>\u2013 A\nReview petition is filed after passing of an order by the examiner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gone to\ncourt<\/strong>\u2013 When the Trademark Application is gone for dispute in the\ncourt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stay of\nRegistration<\/strong>\u2013 the IPAB or the Court has stayed the\nApplication status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Opposition\nWithdrawn<\/strong>\u2013 The third party has withdrawn his opposition application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conclusion\"><\/span>Conclusion<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, it is important to keep a check on the trademark registration status from time to time so as to know the objections and reply within the fixed time period.
