Under \u2018Search Text in\nProprietor Name\u2019 again type the business name and then click Submit. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A\npage will pop up with the list of the matching names as well as their codes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If\nyou don\u2019t find your business here, select the&nbsp;\nAdd New option, located at the\nbottom to add your business profile. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once\ndone,&nbsp; the code will be assigned to your\nbusiness profile. Now, you will be re-routed to the home page. Here you need to\nenter your business code and then register with a unique user id. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After\nthe form\u2019s creation, you can now register online by providing the symbol, &amp;\nuploading the image, if any. You will promptly get a confirmation message\nregarding e-filing. Post acknowledgment, you will be permitted to use \u2122 beside\nthe trademark symbol. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In case of application rejection, the applicant will get another\nopportunity for correction. This will incur no cost whatsoever. If the form\nconfronts rejection again owing to the name then you refile the form and pay a\npenalty of Rs 1000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Assessment Process<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After you file an e-form, the registrar at the Office of the Controller\nGeneral of Patents, Designs &amp; Trade Mark will examine the form for policy\ncompliance. This refers to a\nprovisional approval &amp; a waiting period for which any conflict or dispute\nshall be heard from the concerned person or entities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Opposition or conflict will be waited for three months or 90\ndays, &amp; in some cases 120 days. If no disputes arise in the given timeline\nthen the trademark symbol will be processed accordingly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trademark\nRegistration Certificate<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Post aforesaid timeline with no dispute found the Registrar will\naccept the application for the trademark. Following which the certificate of\nregistration stamped with the Trademark Registry seal will be issued to you.\nNow, you are eligible to use the \u00ae symbol in your trademarked asset. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Status of the\napplication<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Post the confirmation message related to application filing, you\nwill get a unique allotment number. This secures your request in the pending\napproval applications list, thereby allowing you to use the \u2122 symbol next to\nyour trademark symbol.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications are examined on a first come first serve basis,\nhence applications are examined date-wise. Generally, you will get a\ncertification within two years. The same is true for rejection as well. At this\npoint, you may wish to determine the expiry of your trademark. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Registration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After the allotment number is done &amp; approved, it will be\nre-routed for registration. Post-registration, the registry shall bestow the\ntrademark registration certificate.
