Under the Direct Benefit Transfer Scheme (DBTL) or\nthe PAHAL (Pratyaksh Hanstantrit Labh) as introduced by the Government for the LPG\nscheme, it allows LPG customers to avail the benefit of LPG subsidy provided by\nthe government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thus, to get this\nbenefit of LPG subsidy, the person needs to link Aadhaar card with LPG\nconnection. So, the person must enrol to get the aadhaar card so as to link\nwith LPG connection. The person can visit the nearest Enrolment Centre for Aadhaar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ii)\nLink Aadhaar Details to Bank Account<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For availing the benefit\nof direct credit of LPG subsidy the person should link his aadhaar number to\nhis bank account. The linking of aadhaar to a bank account can be done in the\ngiven below two ways:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>To request for the aadhaar linking with the\napplication of bank account at the nearby bank branch together with the\nenclosed documents as required by the bank.<\/li><li>The person can directly obtain the \u2018Bank account \u2013\nAadhaar Linkage Form from the LPG distributor which is specifically for LPG customers\nand leave the signed and filled form in the \u2018bank dropbox\u2019 at the LPG\ndistribution centre.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">iii)\nLink your Aadhaar Details to your LPG Connection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a mandatory\nrequirement to avail the benefit the person has to ensure that he has linked\nhis Aadhaar card with LPG connection so as to avail the LPG benefit facility directly\nas offered by the Government. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Linking the aadhaar\ndetails with LPG connection can be done in various ways. This process may to\nsome extent differ which shall depend on the scheme name and the name of\ndistributor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Procedure to Link Aadhaar Card with LPG Connection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>The given below are the ways to link aadhaar with LPG connection:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Online method<\/li><li>Offline method<\/li><li>SMS mode<\/li><li>IVRS\/IVRL mode<\/li><li>Through Indane gas\ncustomer service number<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Online Method <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The person will have to login to the UIDAI&nbsp; official&nbsp;website and access aadhaar seeding portal of UIDAI&nbsp;and enter the required information<\/li><li>The person shall choose the Benefit Type as \u201cLPG\u201d since he wants to link the Aadhaar Card with LPG connection. The person is obligated to mention the Name of the Scheme which shall be in accordance with his LPG connection. (For example: \u201cIOCL\u201d for Indane connections and \u201cBPCL\u201d for Bharat Gas connections.<\/li><li>The person shall next select the name of the distributor from the available list and make an entry on his LPG consumer number.<\/li><li>After that the person shall enter his personal details like mobile number, email address and Aadhaar number for filing the seeding application before and then only shall click on the \u201cSubmit\u201d button.<\/li><li>On submitting, the person shall receive an OTP on his registered number and email ID. The OTP shall be entered and submitted to end the whole process. After successful registration of request, the officers shall verify the details and that shall be notified in the registered contact number and email ID.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Offline Method <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The offline method\ncan be either direct visit to the distributors nearest office and physically\nsubmit the documents or download the required form from the website and send by\npost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SMS Mode<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>SMS mode means that the person can request for\nlinking of aadhaar card with LPG connection by sending the SMS to the gas\ndistributor in the required prescribed format. The procedure of SMS mode is\ngiven below:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The person will have to login and check the LPG gas website&nbsp;and access the contact details of gas distributors on the basis of state-wise and district-wise.<\/li><li>He will have to send SMS for linking aadhaar card to LPG connection to the nearest distributor\u2019s mobile number in the given format \u2013<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>UID &lt;\nAadhaar Card Number&gt;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">IVRS\/IVRL\nMode <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Interactive\nVoice Response System (IVRS) is developed by Indian Oil Corporation Limited for\nits consumers to efficiently help them link their aadhaar card to LPG gas\nconnection.
