NGO facilitates its mission towards the promotion of social\nwelfare, arts, charity, science, research, sports, education, religion, and\nmore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nexpression Non Government Organization or NGO is used as an umbrella that covers\nall the legal institution that looks for charitable and humanitarian funds for\nthe purpose of betterment of the society without intention to derive any profit\nfrom it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NGOs play a significant part in developing the society, promoting citizen participation and improving the communities. If any NGO has to obtain Government funding, then\nit needs to submit about their project in the ministry of Government and let\nthe ministry know about the work which the NGO needs money. If the project is\napproved then the NGO shall receive the fund. If it is disapproved by the\nGovernment then the NGO won\u2019t be able to get the funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The Government Ministries, Government Departments and Public sectors have certain rules, parameters, terms and regulations on the basis of certain criteria on which the NGOs are given the funds and schemes from the <em><strong>Government<\/strong><\/em><sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Government\"><em><strong>[1]<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/sup>.<\/li><li>The major requirement is that the NGO must be registered and empanelled in the NITI Aayog.<\/li><li>The NGO must have the unique ID after getting empanelled in order to receive the government funding.<\/li><li>In general practice, after 3 years of the successful NGO registration, the NGO will be eligible for government funding. Nonetheless, in certain exceptional cases if the NGO gets permission for their project plans then the government funding can be acquired just after one year of the NGO registration.<\/li><li>For getting Government funding, the applicant should login NGO Darpan government website.<\/li><li>The applicant shall click on \u201cApply for Grant\u201d link in the darpan site and further proceed by clicking on the available links.<\/li><li>The applicant is required to submit his complete project proposal in accordance with the guidelines of that specific page of the concerned Department. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Few_Major_Ministries_who_Provides_Funding_Schemes_for_NGOs\"><\/span>Few Major Ministries who Provides Funding Schemes\nfor NGOs<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>The following are the list of government ministries which provides government funding to the NGOs working on all the given sectors:-<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ministry of Culture\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The NGOs working for development and promotion of\nculture will be covered under this section and the Ministry of Culture will\nprovide funds for culture schemes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ministry of Health and Family Welfare\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The NGO working for the promotion of health and family\nwelfare will receive funds from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ministry of Human Resource Development\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>NGOs working on the projects for growth of Human\nResource Development section will receive government funds from the Ministry of\nHuman Resource Development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ministry of Social Justice &amp; Empowerment\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This will cover the promotion of social justice and\nempowerment, the NGOs will receive fund from the Ministry of Social Justice\n&amp; Empowerment Schemes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ministry of Tribal Affairs\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This will covers the projects related to promotion of\ntribal affairs related projects by NGO. The NGOs will receive fund from the\nMinistry of Tribal Affairs under any Schemes associated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ministry of Women &amp; Child Development\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>NGOs working for the development of women and child\nshall receive government monetary support from the Ministry of Women &amp;\nChild Development Schemes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">National AIDS Control Organization (NACO)\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Any scheme implementation related to National AIDS\nControl Organization (NACO) through NGOs will receive government aid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conclusion\"><\/span>Conclusion<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As NGO is working towards social cause and for the furtherance of uplifting the society it is very important that there is continuous flow of the funds in the form of charities or contributions.
