Hence, no individual or entity is permitted to deal with any Import\nor Export without obtaining the IEC Code Number. Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) is also one of the methods to pay the money. <\/li><li>The banker of the applicant shall give the Certificate to the applicant firm which shall be submitted in the specified format.<\/li><li>The copy of Permanent Account Number (PAN) issued by Income Tax Authorities which should be a self certified copy of the applicant.<\/li><li>The applicant\u2019s two passport size photograph copies as required by the format of IEC. <\/li><li>It is required that the banker of the applicant should attest the photograph of the applicant on the banker\u2019s certificate <\/li><li>Envelope to self address and stamp of Rs.30.<\/li><li>All these documents shall be securely kept in a file cover. <\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nabove documents can be given by hand delivery or sent by post at the concerned\nregional DGFT office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Applying\nfor Modification of Existing IEC number<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Kindly fill Part A, C &amp; D of this\napplication form (Form ANF -2A)<\/li><li>One copy of the application ought to be\nsubmitted<\/li><li>It is obligatory to sign all the pages of the\napplication by the applicant. <\/li><li>The documents that shall accompany the application\nare as given below:-<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Documentary Proof<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>In case of <strong>Proprietorship firms<\/strong>, furnish:-<ul><li>The applicant\u2019s Date of Birth <\/li><li>The number of IECs carried by the applicant along with their details.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>In case of <strong>Companies,<\/strong> furnish:-<ul><li>The Date of incorporation of the Company<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>In case of <strong>others:-<\/strong><ul><li>Date of formation <\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Details\nof the Demand Draft which shall be an evidence for the payment of the application\nfee in the terms of Appendix 21B. (If the application for modification or amendment\nis made in 60 days then there is no requirement to pay the fee or else, a fee\nof Rs.200 has to be paid in the form of demand draft. For inclusion of PAN\nnumber in the old IEC fee payment is not required. The applicant is required to\nsubmit his original copy of the existing IEC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Documents_are_required_for_Submitting_an_IEC_Application_Online\"><\/span>What Documents\nare required for Submitting an IEC Application Online?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>The following scanned documents are required for uploading while submitting the IEC application:-<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Incorporation proof or proof of establishment or registration of the Partnership firm, Trust, Registered Society, or HUF<\/li><li>Proof of Address- which can be any of the documents like the Rent agreement, MoU, Sale Deed, Partnership deed, lease deed, telephone bill, electricity bill, etc.<\/li><li>Further, for proprietorship firm other necessary documents <strong><em>Aadhaar<\/em><\/strong><sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Aadhaar\"><strong><em>[1]<\/em><\/strong><\/a><\/sup> card, passport card and voter id.<\/li><li>A no-objection certificate (NOC) by the owner of the firm in favour of the firm, where in case the address proof is not in the name of applicant\u2019s firm together with the address proof has to be submitted as a sole PDF document.<\/li><li>Proof of Firm\u2019s Bank Account<\/li><li>Cancelled Cheque of the bank <\/li><li>Certificate of Bank<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conclusion\"><\/span>Conclusion<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>IEC\nhelps in taking the services or product to the market globally and grow the\nbusinesses.
